MARIANELLA VENTURA NEW SECRETARY GENERAL OF THE ARBITRATION CENTER

As of this week, Marianella Ventura takes over the Secretariat of the Arbitration Center of the Lima Chamber of Commerce. She is a lawyer with 10 years of experience in arbitration, litigation and dispute resolution at domestic and international level, admitted to practice in Italy, Spain and Peru.

She studied law at Universitá degli Studi di Pavia (Italy), later revalidated her degree at the Pontificia Universidad Católica del Perú, and obtained a Master’s degree in Law with a major in International Commercial Arbitration from the Stockholm University (Sweden).

She began her professional career in Milan, where she worked at Carnelutti Studio Legale Associato and Simmons & Simmons LLP, later participating as a visiting lawyer at the London office of Winston & Strawn LLP. In Lima, she has worked an Arbitration Secretary at the Arbitration Center of the Lima Chamber of Commerce and as an associate of Osterling Law Firm. She is the founder and first president of the non-profit association Arbitration360°.
