AGREEMENT WITH ARBITRATOR INTELLIGENCE INCREASES INFORMATION AVAILABLE TO USERS

Welcoming the International Seminar “Lights and Shadows of Arbitration: 10 years after the Arbitration Law”, the president of the Superior Council of the Arbitration Center of the Lima Chamber of Commerce, Rosa Bueno de Lercari, said that the event comes at the right time to “thinks about the future of arbitration and how it can be strengthened to contribute to improve the administration of justice in the country”.

“Today we lawyers have a challenge, and that is to demonstrate to Peru that it is possible to administer justice, respecting and promoting the highest standards of integrity. We, as the Arbitration Center, are taking steps to strengthen transparency by systematizing the awards of concluded proceedings in which the State has been a party”, she said.

Furthermore, Bueno de Lercari stated that she had signed an agreement with Arbitrator Intelligence with the purpose of increasing the information available for users about the arbitrators they are considering to appoint.

“This agreement shall enhance and diversify the team of national and international arbitrators at the service of companies and users in general,” she added.
